Carlton T. (Bud) West Jr.

Carlton T. "Bud" West Jr., age 75 of Dahlonega and formerly of Panama City, Florida passed away on March 15th, 2015 following a sudden illness.
Bud was retired from the U.S. Air Force having served as a pilot in Vietnam. Following his military retirement, he obtained a law degree and served as an attorney.
He is preceded in death by his parents Carlton "Cot' West and mother Eula Mae Hall West and his sister Barbara Grant Bales.

He is survived by his loving wife Martha Sue Ridley West, sons Brian West (Jenelle) of West Virginia, Craig West of San Francisco, CA; step- children Sharon (Jamie) Satterfield of Charlotte, NC, Donna (Keith) Anderson of Dahlonega, and Ronna (Clark) Anderson of Dahlonega; sister, Agnes (Arnold ) Gurley of Royston, GA, and brother, Danny (Debbie) West of Buford, GA, 10 grandchildren and 6 step -grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in the chapel of Dahlonega Funeral Home with the Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Cavender Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Dahlonega Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 9p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
