Cleta Benefield Fields

Cleta Benefield Fields, 83, of Gainesville passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Mt. Sani Cemetery. Reverend Jeff Thompson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fields was born on March 1931 in Heflin, AL to the late Zach and Litha Benefield. She got her nursing degree from North Georgia Technical College and retired from the Coronary Care Unit at Northeast Georgia Medical. She was a member of Cavenders Creek Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edward Fields.
Mrs. Fields is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Roger Callahan of Cleveland; grandson and wife, Jeremy and Ashley Crane, grandson Josh Truelove, great grandchildren, Ayden and Brooke Crane, Austin, Tyler and Hannah Truelove; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Nellie Benefield of AL.
