Fred Allen Higgins

Fred Allen Higgins, age 76, of Hoschton passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 6, 2015. Fred was born on October 1, 1938 and was the son of the late Wayne and Myrtie Higgins. He was a graduate of Franklin County High School with honors. He retired from the Gwinnett County School System. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 57 years Martha Evans Higgins; son Michael Keith Higgins and wife Kellie; grandson Matthew Ryan Higgins; sister in law Linda Boc and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, March 8, 2015at Stephens Memorial Gardens. Rev. Cory Sexton will be officiating. The family will receive friends 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Lawson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at "AHA Donate Now and Help Save Lives" website.
