Dorothy Ballenger

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Dorothy Ballenger, age 89, of Commerce who passed away on Thursday March 5th, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Ed and Maebelle Brock. Survivors include her daughter, Betty Chambers of Gillsville; son, Jimmy Ballenger of Carnesville; brother, Calvin Brock of Maysville; sisters, Ruby Roberts of Commerce and Lutrelle Parr of Maysville; nine grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and a number of great great grandchildren. In additon to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Ballenger.

Services will be held on Sunday March 8th, 2015 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home with Rev. Winfred Bingham officiating. Interment will follow at Nails Creek Church Cemetery.
