Debra L. Powell, age 57, of Dacula, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. She is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Tommy Powell; mother, Marjorie Sapp-Penn, Grass Valley, CA; sisters and brother-in-law, Teri Demunch, Grass Valley, CA, and Destiny and Alen Castle, Carson City, NV; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Kathy Badding, Grass Valley, CA, and Wayde and Donna Badding, Bethlehem, GA; best friend, Gay-Wright Patillo, Lawrenceville, GA; sisters-in-law, Jeri Lyn Powell, Dacula, GA, and Donie Powell, Dacula, GA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert and Peggy Powell, Johns Creek, GA, Jimmy and Betty Powell, Lawrenceville, GA, and Wesley Powell, Dacula, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Powell was born March 22, 1957 in Phillips, WI. She was a 1975 graduate of Mission San Jose High School and was employed with McNaughton-McKay in the accounting department. She was a cordon bleu chef and a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Winder, GA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
