Mrs. Arvie Jean Ivester Robinson Clark, age 71 of 1188 Mize Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at her residence.
A daughter of the late Arthur and Mattlea Elrod Ivester, she was born January 16, 1944 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Robinson, by her second husband, Ralph Clark, by two daughters, Joyce Wade and Carol Holbrooks and by two sons, Richard Long and Roy Robinson.
Survivors include six daughters, Reba Robinson, Mary Bowen and Pauline Jones and Jane Robinson all of Toccoa, Jeannett Garrett of Homer, Georgia and Merlyn McAlister of Lula, Georgia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin E. and Bonnie Robinson and Robert and Lisa Long both of Toccoa; daughter-in-law, Marie Long of Lavonia, Georgia; twenty grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Ovalene Moody of Lula, Georgia and Marvalee Cordell of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 7, 11 O'clock AM at Silver Shoals Baptist Church, Homer, Georgia with The Reverend Don Scott and The Reverend John Wood officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Dusty Robinson, Dale Robinson, Forest Jones, Gene Long, Bill Bohannon and David Bohannon.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from 6 PM to 8 PM.
Interment will follow in the Silver Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Arvie Jean Ivester Robinson Clark.
