Curtis Lee Benfield

A memorial service for Curtis Lee Benfield, age 76, of Clarkesville will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 3:00 PM from Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Pletsch, Rev. Tony Kemp, and Rev. Don Samples officiating.
Mr. Benfield passed away March 3, 2015, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.

Born October 28, 1938, Mr. Benfield was the son of the late Marlon and Sally Ivester Benfield. Mr. Benfield was employed by Scovill Manufacturing as a machine operator.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Ben and Cosby Benfield and his sister Selma Watkins.
Mr. Benfield is survived by his wife Glenner Allen Benfield; daughter and son in law Ramona and Jeff Holt of Cornelia; son and daughter in law Barry and Marie Benfield of Clarkesville, son and daughter in law Gene and Vicki Benfield of Clarkesville; brother Lewis Benfield of Clarkesville, brother and sister in law Larry and Brenda Benfield of Demorest; sister and brother in law Doris and Edward Sims of Clarkesville, sister and brother in law Audrey and Dan Dixon of Clarkesville; grandchildren Justin, Emily, Keaton, Nicole, Sidney, and Genie and husband Josh Banks.
