Dwight Alton Worley

Dwight Alton Worley, 73, of Lula passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following and extended illness.


Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Living Missions Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverend Drewery Loggins, Reverend Greg Poole and Reverend Brent Jordan will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.


Mr. Worley was born on February 19, 1942 in Belton, GA to the late Walter T. and Susie Cantrell Worley. He was retired from Lucent Technologies where he worked in production. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Howard Worley, son, Dwight David Worley.


Mr. Worley is survived by his wife, Norine Worley of Lula; son, Jeff Worley of Covington; grandchildren, Jarrett & Taylor Worley, great grandchildren, David Worley, Conner Brown, and Emma Brown; sisters, Yvonne Whitfield of Mt. Airy, Wanda Poole of Lula, Ann Jordan of Lula, Linda Ash of Lula; brother, Doug Worley of Gainesville.
