Hoyt J. Sullens

Hoyt J. Sullens, age 78, of Pendergrass, GA died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA.

Hoyt was born August 29, 1936 in Dahlonega, GA. He was a retired truck driver and was of the Baptist faith.

He was the son of the late Winslow and Annie Teal Sullens. He was the last survivor of 15 children.

Hoyt is survived by his son, Michael Sullens, Pendergrass, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Mike Gee, Pendergrass, GA; grandchildren, Hoyt Christopher Looney, Missy Lee, Leighann Cox, Terry Lee Sullens, and Matthew Sullens; 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Mary Ann Phillips and her son, Chuck. Numerous other relatives also survive.

A visitation to celebrate Hoyt's life will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 4 PM until 9 PM at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA.
