Bobby Ray Rickman

Mr. Bobby Ray Rickman, age 62 of 1314 Avalon Road, Martin, Georgia passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 at his residence.

A son of the late Fred and Drucie Mae Williams Rickman, he was born August 28, 1952 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, employed with Patterson Pump as Vice President of Contract Administration, a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and the Kevin Moore Sunday School Class. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his "Bonus Mother", Eloise Stewart Payne Rickman.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Pam Smith Rickman; a son and daughter-in-law and their children, Jonathan David Rickman and Laura and children, Sid Hopkins and Mason Rickman; daughters and son-in-law and their children, Allyson and Jesse Warren and children, Jovie and David Warren, daughters, Taylor Rickman and Rebekah Rickman both of the home; mother-in-law, Sara Smith of Eastanollee; brother and sister-in-law, Fred W. and Etheline Rickman of Martin; sisters-in-law, Linda Cowart and her husband Wayne of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Deb Slack and husband Mike of Sharon, South Carolina; brothers-in-law, Avery Smith and wife Cindy of Jefferson, Texas and Alan Smith and wife Michelle of Danielsville, Georgia; special extended family of Eloise Payne Rickman and family of Ed Taylor.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 1, 2015, 2 O'clock PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Reverend Andy Childs officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Billy Stovall, Herb Nicholson, Al Huber, Steve McIntyre, Michael Herron and Brian Fulbright. The following will serve as Honorary Escort, Billy Shaw, Fred Watson and The Kevin Moore Sunday School Class.

The family will be at the home on Avalon Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 6 PM to 8 PM.
