Haroldine Little Martin, 90, of Cornelia passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Scott Strickland will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 6-8 pm and on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 12-2 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Martin was born on December 20, 1924 in Gainesville to the late Lloyd and Cora Little. She was retired from Ethicon/Chicopee where she worked as an inspector. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Ernest Martin, son-in-law, Don Strickland, 7 brothers and 6 sisters. She was the last of 13 siblings.
Mrs. Martin is survived by her daughter, Ann Strickland of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Tim Chiasson of Pell City, AL; son, Tracy Martin of Cornelia; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Susan Martin of Homer; grandchildren, Missy Mann, Scott Strickland, Sterling Strickland, Tana Martin, Trevor Martin, Cori Martin, and Ally Martin; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
