Bennie Ruth Welch Bruce

Bennie Ruth Welch Bruce, 56, of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness.


Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 12:30 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Dewberry Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Carl Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2015 from 6-9 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bruce was born on January 14, 1959 in Dalton, GA to Essie Gofforth Welch and late Benjamin Harlan Welch.

Mrs. Bruce is survived by her husband, James Bruce of Gainesville, son, Jayson (Melinda) Garland of Gainesville, daughter, Jennifer (Chris) McNeill of Florida, son, Steven (Aleta) Bruce of Gillsville, 9, grandchildren, sisters, Kay McClure , Diane Davis, Jean Newton all of Ellijay, brothers, Billy Gofforth of Dalton, David Welch of Ellijay.
