Aetna Shockley Ivester

Funeral services for Aetna "Mousey" Shockley Ivester, age 77, of Clarkesville will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Hillside Memorial Chapel with Pastor Don Samples officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hollywood Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00PM.

Mrs. Ivester passed away February 23, 2015.

Born February 27, 1937, Mrs. Ivester was the daughter of the late Cicero and Izora Garner Shockley. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Henry Ivester.

Mrs. Ivester is survived by daughter Rita Zavala of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Lillian and David Barrs of Clarkesville, daughter and son in law Maria and Terry Kaminiski of Baldwin, daughter and son in law Doris and Scott Youngblood of Toccoa; son and daughter in law Thomas and Tammy Ivester of Clayton; brother Homer Schockley of Lula; sister Gaynell Hooper of Clarkesville; 14 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
