Mary Jane Rogers Adkins

Mary Jane Rogers (MeMe) Adkins passed away early Sunday morning, February 22, 2015 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center after an extended illness.



Mrs. Adkins is survived by her Mother- Ellen C. Rogers- Clermont, Ga., Husband- Glen R. Adkins- Gainesville, Ga., and five (5) siblings- Nell Gailey- Sister- Clermont, Ga., Charles Rogers- Brother- Lula, Ga., Betty Rogers- Sister- Duluth, Ga., Tommy Rogers- Brother- Gainesville, Ga., Amy Absher- Sister- Inman, S.C. Countless nephews, nieces, and other members make up this wonderful Family.

She was a retired Office Manager for Meyer Construction Specialties, Inc. under the much beloved ownership of Tina and Tommy Meyer here in Gainesville, Ga.

She adored her Mother- Ellen and took great pleasure in assisting her in preparing and cooking home-made meals for the Folks at 'Good News at Noon'. This dynamic duo along with their fellow team members always put a smile on Mr. 'B's face.



Her loyalty and devotion to her family and friends may never be surpassed. Never missed a birthday or a celebration. If she did, that means someone changed their birth certificate. She worked hard, extremely clever and smart. All who knew her will miss this extraordinary woman and what she gave to each of us.



Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. The Reverend Chris Bryant will officiate. The family will receive friends 28, 2015 at the funeral home



The Family would like to further acknowledge the following that provided so much comfort, professional care, and love to Mary. Dr. John Chiulli and his marvelous Staff- Ashley and Donna with Palliative Care- Tish with Hospice-and the too numerous to name at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center. And no, we did not forget you Tyler.
