Marie Martin

Marie Martin, age 77, of Cumming, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015. Marie was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church where she was also member of the choir. Marie volunteered as a Bible School worker. She loved the Young at Heart and the Helping Hands group. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Martin and her son, Keith Ray Martin.

Marie is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky (Stephanie) Odum of Monroe, GA, Gary (Stacey) Martin of Milton, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie (Terry) Neese of Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Tabatha and Craig Cown, Amber and Darrell Prince, Alisa Smith, Justin and Heather Fulkerson, Ethan and Kathryn Martin, Jedidiah Martin; great grandchildren, Cory Cown, Mackenzie Cown, Keaton Cown, Kalib Prince, Camden Prince, Kendal Prince, Madison Griggs, Jaidyn Farr, Dakota Farr; sister, Dot Willard of Cumming, GA; brother, Melvin Long of Woodstock, GA.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Smith, Rev. Alan Sutton and Rev. Lee Gaddis officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, from noon to 2 p.m.
