Henry Howard Clark

Henry Howard Clark, age 74, of Cornelia, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015.
Born on September 27, 1940, in Clarkesville, he was a son of the late John Howard and Addie Bell Holbrook Clark. Mr. Clark was a retired trucker with Sullens Trucking and also worked with Perry Gas for over 10 years. He was also a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. He enjoyed the outdoors and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tenoia Ebrey; brothers, Leon and Billy Joe Clark.
Survivors include daughter, Shannon Clark of Athens and Shanta Clark of Douglasville; son, John Clark of Baldwin; brother, Jerry Clark of Clarkesville; sister, Lucille Farmer of Flowery Branch; grandchildren, Winston Russo, Alexander Clark, Scott Clark, Isabella Clark, Jason Clark and expecting another grandchild, Sterling Embrey; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are 2 pm Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Grant Reeves VFW Post # 7720, the American Legion Post # 84, the Rabun County DAV Chapter # 15 and the Georgia National Guard.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
