Vera Westmoreland Wooten

Vera Westmoreland Wooten, age 88, of Gainesville formerly of Cleveland passed away Saturday February 14, 2015.

Mrs. Wooten was born in Banks County the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary Pearl Sargent Westmoreland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Corbett T. Wooten, sister, Hattie Mae Westmoreland, brothers, Marvin Westmoreland, Jesse (Jett) Westmoreland, Tom Westmoreland and Anon Westmoreland. Mrs. Wooten was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Connie Wooten, Braselton; daughters and sons-in-law, DiAnn and Carey Hulsey, Watkinsville, Denise and Tim Gee, Gainesville; grandchildren, Jena Wooten, Jared and Brittany Ward, Daniel and Sharon Hulsey, Jessica Hulsey, Joseph and Ashley Gee, Jacob Gee, Erin Gee, Blakley Wofford, Danny Luong; great grandchildren, Camp Ward, Grady Ward, Atticus Hulsey.

Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Tuesday February 17, 2015 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. J.L. Yopp will officiate. Interment will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 2-4 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
