Florence Irene Adams

Florence Irene Adams, 87, of Oakwood, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015, at Wellstar Paulding Hospital, following an extended illness.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Ross Wheeler, Jr., will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 16, 2015, from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Adams was born on April 30, 1927, in Maysville to the late Hubert R. and Essie Lay Marlow. She was a Homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doyle Adams; son, Danny Joe Smith.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Baron Newton of Marietta, Linda and Robert Baldwin of Jasper; daughters, Sarah Booker of Chestnut Mt., Betty Smith of Gainesville, Retha Davis of Marietta; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
