Edell Viola Clark

Edell Viola Clark, age 90, passed away Friday, February 13, 2013 after a brief illness.
Mrs. Clark was born on May 3, 1924 in Gumbo, Missouri to the late Ed and Marie Steiner. She lived in Gainesville for over 25 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Gainesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mildred Steiner Pitman. She was also preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, George M Clark. George and Edell loved life, their church, their family and are remembered for their kind and faithful spirits.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Skip Collins, Gainesville, Linda and Jim Demis, Grandview, MO; grandchildren, James and Heather Demis, Mary Esther, FL, Aaron Demis, Grandview, MO and Kim and Michael Cooper, Dawsonville; and great-grandchildren, Annabelle and Jimmy Demis, Mary Esther, FL.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 22 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Cedar Hill, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The United Methodists Children's Home or the Alzheimer's Association.
