Phyllis Faye Floyd

Phyllis Faye Floyd of Buford Georgia, went to be with the lord on February 14, 2015. Phyllis was born on January 10, 1954 in Cummings Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roger & Faye Smith. Phyllis is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jay Floyd, daughters Tina Baker and husband Richard, Jackie Andrus and husband Matt and son Thomas Floyd, 6 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren, uncles and aunts Noah and Clyde Darracott, H. V. Martin, Clyde and Emma Lee Smith, and Herbert Grier, and aunt Velma Darracott England, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Phyllis was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church for 15 years. She enjoyed playing the piano and organ and singing in the choir. Her smile and warm personality will be missed by her family as well as all of her friends.
Friends are cordially invited to the visitation with the family on Monday, February 16, 2015 at Flanigan Funeral Home 4-8 pm. Services will be at Ivy Creek Baptist Church on Tuesday February 17th at 2pm officiated by Rev. Craig Dale and Ted Williams. Interment will follow at Ivy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Ivy Creek Baptist Church Piano Fund @ 2500 Ivy Creek Church Road, Buford, GA 30519.
