Sammy Peppers, age 65, of Winder passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015. Mr. Peppers was an United States Army Veteran. He loved dirt track racing and truck driving. He was survived by his wife of 32 years Debra Peppers; sons Barry Peppers of Bethlehem, Richard Peppers of Villa Rica, Shane Peppers and wife Nicole of Bethlehem, Brandon Peppers and wife Ashley of Bethlehem; daughters Angela Woody of Villa Rica and Stephanie Peppers of Bethlehem; brothers Wayne Peppers of Talking Rock; sisters Shirley Smith of Walnut Grove, Sadie Mae Tumlin and husband Fred of Winder, Ellen Golden and husband Sterling of Acworth; 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a dear friend Jessica Vaughan. He is preceded in death by his twin sister Hope Peppers. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gary Crawford will be officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Synergy Church, 175 2nd Street, Winder, GA, 30680.
