Janice Kay Dudley

Janice Kay Dudley, 76, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday February 10, 2015 at her residence following a sudden illness.

Born January 10, 1939 to the late Ernest and Frieda Byrd, Mrs. Dudley had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 12 years coming from Winter Springs, Florida. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she loved traveling, antiques, gardening, music, reading, and singing. She had been employed for the past 8 years as an associate at Wal-Mart in Dawsonville. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Robert E. Dudley, Sr. and daughter, Amber Diane Dudley.

Surviving are her daughter, Lori Dudley Isner, Dawsonville; sons, Robert E. Dudley, Jr., Indiana, Ronald E. Dudley, South Carolina, William R. Dudley, Sr., Dawsonville, David W. Dudley, Dawsonville; sister, Brenda Stephens, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and Wallace.

The family is planning private memorial services at a later date.
