Tammy Elliott Cain, age 48 of Savannah formerly of Cleveland, passed away Monday, February 09, 2015.
Tammy was born September 8, 1966 in Riverton, WY to Farrell and Geneva Thomas Elliott. Tammy was preceded in death by her baby brother Bill Elliott. She was a devoted and loving wife and worked diligently at making home a "home." Throughout her life, she also worked as an office administrator for various resorts. She had the privilege of traveling to many places and always enjoyed a fun time. Her dogs were like her kids, truly loved and spoiled. She loved the lake and the beach, always enjoying the sunshine. She also loved football and enjoyed watching her favorite television shows.
She was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend that will be deeply missed, yet cherished and remembered forever.
Tammy and Johnny shared the last 27 years of their lives together, being married for the last 12 of those years. They married on September 14, 2002.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Cain, Savannah; son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Kendal Elliott, Lawrenceville; parents, Farrell and Geneva Elliott, Cleveland; step son, Jacob Cain, Chattanooga, TN; step daughter, Jessica Bavani, Duluth; sisters, Diane Fain, Teresa Williamson, both of Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Deavie and Benny Sims, Gainesville; brother, Eric Elliot, Cleveland; family dog, CeCe.
Memorial services are scheduled for 4:00 PM Sunday, February 15, 2015 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Marc Turner will officiate. A reception will follow at the Cleveland Worship Center Fellowship Hall.
The family will receive friends from 3-4 PM Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
