Irene Dover Jackson

Irene Dover Jackson, age 105 of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Willow Woods Nursing Home following an extended illness.


Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 3:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4006 Old Cornelia Hwy, Gainesville, GA 30507.


Mrs. Jackson was born December 24, 1909 in Habersham County, Georgia to Will and Louiza Cape Dover. She was a homemaker and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Scipio Jackson, Sr.; her sons, Scipio Jackson, Jr. and Barnett Jackson.


Mrs. Jackson is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Thelma and Edward Hunter of Gainesville; 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Sudie Dover of Flowery Branch.
