Irene Lovell Blalock

Mrs. Irene Lovell Blalock, 92 of Tiger, GA went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center In Gainesville.
She was born May 7, 1922, in Habersham County, GA, to the late Virgil and Lillie Kastner Lovell.

Irene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Woodrow Franklin Blalock and three brothers, R.L.,Earl and Dr. V.C. Lovell.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Jo and Bob Daniti and children, Lisa Daniti, Laura and Tyler Webb of Tiger. Two sons, Jim. and Kathy Blalock and children, Erik and Becky Blalock, Amber and Adam Brady of Lakemont, Ted and children, Mike, Jamie and Woody Blalock of Tiger, Cristina and Jeff Weber of Clayton, and eighteen great grandchildren.

She was a member of Tiger Baptist Church where she served in the Nursery Sunday School for many years.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home Sunday February 8, 2015 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at Tiger Baptist Church on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM with the Reverend Tim Hunnicutt and the Reverend Johnny Wright officiating. Interment will be at the Tiger Cemetery. The body is at Beck Funeral Home and will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Erik, Jamie, Joey, Mike and Woody Blalock, Adam Brady, Charles and Rusty Lovell.

The family is at the home on Blair Street in Tiger.
