Lucille Kinsler

Lucille Kinsler, age 88, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 following an extended illness.

She spent most of her adult life in Lumpkin County and was a volunteer with the Chestatee Regional Hospital Auxiliary. She was a Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 333 in Dahlonega, a member of Dahlonega Baptist Church, and an avid supporter of Relay for Life.

Lucille was the daughter of the late Benjamin Hill Smith and Mattie Belle Dickens Smith, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Eugene "Gene" Kinsler; sons, Ronald Kinsler and Galen Kinsler; daughter, Cynthia Kinsler; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by daughter, Donna (Richard) Robinson, Fayetteville, GA; daughter, Sherri Kinsler, Gainesville, GA; brother, Chester (Margie) Smith of Tennessee; and sister, Janette Bedford, Thomaston, GA. 2 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Lucille are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Dahlonega Baptist Church in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Bill Hutcheson will officiate.

A graveside service will follow at 3 PM on Wednesday at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Forest Park, GA.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega from 2:30 PM until 5 PM, and 6 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2015.
