Ola Kimbrell Brown

Ola Kimbrell Brown, age 78, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Brown.

She is survived by her children, Deena D. Thomas, Buford, GA, J. Dennis and Linda Brown, Buford, GA, Dale Luna and Morris Bennett, Jasper, GA and Delaine and Todd Plemmons, Raleigh, NC; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Brenda Brown, Buford, GA and Loretta Raffield, Fitzgerald, GA; brother-in-law, Billy Brown, Doraville, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ms. Brown was born March 11, 1936 in Dunwoody, GA. She received her education at Roswell High School. She was a retired clerk from the Catalog Department of Sears, Roebuck & Company after thirty-five years of service. She attended Life Church of Smyrna, GA.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hewatt officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Alpharetta, GA The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 2, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
