Margaret Anne "Peggy" McGowan Peacock, age 81, of Gainesville, GA. Died Saturday January 31, 2015. Born in Augusta, Ga on Oct 5, 1933 to Henri Charbonnier McGowan and Eugene Burum McGowan.

Survived by her husband Dr. R. Lowell Peacock, Jr.

Sons and Daughter in laws - Ray Peacock and Andrea; Alexander City, AL

Farrow Peacock and Laurin; Oakwood, GA

Grandchildren, Nicole Peacock Anderson, husband Erik, Taylor Lowell Peacock, Morgan Elise Peacock and McGowan Farrow Peacock.

Preceded in death by her parents; daughter Anne Burum Peacock; sister Gene McGowan Sanders and husband Robert and brother Henri Charbonnier McGowan, Jr. and wife Mary.

Peggy was a member of the Daughters of the King, National Society of Colonial Dames of America, Junior League, Northeast Georgia Hospital Auxiliary, and the altar guild at Grace Episcopal Church for many years.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church at 10:30 AM, Tuesday February 3, 2015. The Rev. Stuart Higginbotham will officiate and a reception at the church will follow the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be made to Grace Episcopal Church or to a charity of your choice.
