Tommy Lee Wilmot

Mr. Tommy Lee Wilmot, age 51 of Aiken, South Carolina passed away Friday January, 30 2015 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.



He was the son of the late Lam and Gladys Dooley Wilmot; and was born on January 24, 1964 in Cobb County, Georgia. He was a very special person, who never met a stranger, He grew up in Smyrna, Georgia and everyone loved him. He was a member of Smyrna First Baptist Church. He loved to dance, listen to music and spend time with family. He moved to Aiken, South Carolina after his mother passed in 2007. After a bout with Alzheimers, Pneumonia and various health problems, he went to Heaven to be with his Mom and Dad on Friday morning. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Michael Wilmot.



Survivors include six brothers and three sisters; Stanley Wilmot of Martinez, Georgia, Jerry Wilmot of August, Georgia, Gerald Wilmot of Villa Rica, Georgia, Frank Wilmot of Belvedere, South Carolina and Tim Wilmot of Elkhart, Indiana, Wanda Rhodes of Smyrna, Georgia, Shirley Brumfield of Powder Springs, Georgia and Ethel Emerson of Atlanta, Georgia.



Graveside services will be Sunday February 1st at Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery at 3 P.M. with the Reverend Ken Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. til 2:30 P.M. at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home.



The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Michael Frank Wilmot, Matthew Lam Wilmot, Randy Woods, Roger Dooley, Emory Williams, and Chris Matthews.
