Daisy L. Mize Brown

Daisy L. Mize Brown, 84, of Gainesville passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.


Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.


Mrs.Brown was born on April 7, 1930 in Gillsville, Ga to the late Samuel and Lelia Buffington Mize. She was a nurse aide at Memorial Hospital in Syracuse, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles E. Brown.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lynn Render of Gainesville; son, Charles Derrick Brown of Gainesville; grandsons, Emmett Goss Jr., (Brittany) of Gainesville, Steward Dorsey of Gainesville, Delmarco Brown of Basie, Virginia, Kyle Kennon Brown (Anna) of Buffalo, New York; great grandsons, Brendon Goss, Camdon Goss, Tucker Goss; sisters, Claudine Randolph of Buford, and Wynonia Moss of Gainesville; brothers, Floyd Mize and Dorsey Mize of Gainesville.
