Clinton Eugene Simmons

Mr. Clinton Eugene Simmons, age 59 of 676 Chapel Road, Martin, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at his residence.

A son of the late Ben J. and Mary Elizabeth Whitfield Simmons, he was born August 14, 1955 in Habersham County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was employed with the City of Cornelia and in Banks County with Waste Water Department. He was of the Holiness faith.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Cyndi Gannon Simmons; four sons and daughter-in-law, Cameron and Miranda Simmons of Toccoa, Christopher Simmons of Flowery Branch, Benton Simmons of Martin and John Michael Simmons of Demorest; step-son, Allen Adcock and wife Tia of Atlanta; six grandchildren; three brothers, Joel Simmons, David Simmons and Douglas Simmons all of Toccoa; four sisters, Delores Simpson, Carol Holland, Barbara Hill and Debra Youngblood all of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 29, 4 O'clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Lester Cowan officiating.

The family will be at the home on Chapel Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Acree-Davis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Clinton Eugene Simmons.
