Julian C. Bridges

Mr. Julian C. Bridges, age 85 of Commerce died Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Northridge Medical Center.

Mr. Bridges was born in Commerce to the late, Richard and Nancy Fleeman Bridges. Mr. Bridges was a retired mechanic from Billy Cain Ford and a chicken farmer. Mr. Bridges was a member of Berea Baptist Church and a US Army veteran. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bridges was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Faye Wilbanks Bridges.

Mr. Bridges is survived by his son, Mark Bridges of Ellijay; daughters, Nancy Bridges of Commerce and Karen Weaver of Royston; brother, Jimmy Bridges of Commerce; and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Henderson officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday night from 6-8 PM.
