Ezekial Eugene Wright

Ezekial Eugene Wright, 73, of Gainesville passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Ricky Elrod will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Wright was born on June 16, 1941 in Greensboro, GA to the late Lewis Washington and Eunice Irene Dover Wright. He worked at Mar-Jac Feed Mill where he worked as a pellet mill operator and was of Baptist faith. He also served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law, Mike McEver

Mr. Wright is survived by his wife of 51 years Scviller Wright of Gainesville; daughter, Kay McEver of Monroe; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Donna Robinson of Gainesville, Reggie and Heather Wright of Gainesville, Wesley and Tina Wright of Gillsville; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Wright of Belmont, Larry Wright of Gainesville; sister, Carolyn Owens of Chestnut Mt.; several nieces and nephews.
