Paul H. Brinson

Mr. Paul H. Brinson, age 92, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Private services will be held.

He was born December 9, 1922 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the son of the late Thomas Everett Brinson and Elizabeth (Davis) Brinson. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II and retired from Salisbury Lab after 34 years. He was a long time member of Gainesville First United Methodist Church

Mr. Brinson is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret (Mickie) Walther Brinson; sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip H. and Mary Ellen Brinson; George W. and Carolyn Brinson; David W. and Carol Brinson; Carol and Derek Moore; grandchildren and spouse; Jennifer (Brinson) and Alex Mathes, Jacob and Staci Brinson, Paul Brinson, Catherine and Wesley Bruce, Patrick and Rachel Brinson, Bryan and Sam Brinson, Thomas Brinson, Anna Kimpling and Ally Kimpling; two Step-grandchildren Josh Moore and Sara Moore; seven great-grandchildren, Caroline and Amelia Mathes, Jack and Ellie Brinson, Brinson and Candler Bruce, and Kate Brinson.

The family has requested donations be made to the Gainesville First United Methodist Church 2780 Thompson Bridge Road Gainesville, GA 30506.
