Carolyn Louise Adams

Carolyn Louise Adams, age 79, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. She was preceded in death by her son, Russell Scott Adams; parents, Cleo Peppers and Dora Peppers Morgan; sisters, Sally Anglin and Vernell Carlyle; brother, J. C. Peppers; and stepfather, Lewis Morgan. She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Ronald Clark Adams; children, Jeff Clark Adams and wife Diane, Blue Ridge, GA, and Steven Zachary Adams and wife Rachel, Dacula, GA; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Adams, Charlotte, NC, Tara Mayer and husband Tyler, Ellijay, GA, Lauren Adams and Zachary Adams, both of Dacula, GA; great granddaughter, Isabella Mayer, Ellijay, GA; aunt, Ola G. Adams, Buford, GA; one nephew; and several nieces and cousins. Mrs. Adams was born August 6, 1935 in Sugar Hill, GA. She was a 1952 graduate of Sugar Hill School and was crowned Miss Sugar Hill in 1951. She lived in many places in the United States during her early years and also in Germany. She settled in Dunwoody, GA until 2000 when she and her husband made their final move to Blue Ridge until her death. Mrs. Adams has been cremated and a memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Buford American Legion Post 127, 2640 Sawnee Avenue, Buford, GA. The family will receive visitors at Buford American Legion on Sunday prior to and following the service.
