G. Dan Hulsey

G. Dan Hulsey, 62, of Dumfries, Virginia passed away Wednesday January 21, 2015.

Born June 5, 1952, Mr. Hulsey had been a resident of Virginia for the past 24 years. A graduate of West Point Military Academy he served in the U.S. Air Force where he retired after 21 years as a Lt. Colonel. During his time in the Air Force he spent 10 years overseas in Okinawa and The Philippines where he piloted F-15s and F-4 Agressors. He was preceded in death by his father, William Dean Hulsey.

Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Judy Hulsey, Dumfries, VA; daughter, Sarah Hulsey, Dumfries, VA; son and daughter in law, Geoff and Flavia Hulsey, Olympia, WA; mother, Mary Hulsey, Dawsonville; grandson, Drake Hulsey.

Memorial services will be held Saturday January 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Roger Slaton will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
