Patricia Ann Ausborn Murray

Patricia Ann Ausborn Murray, age 71 of Carnesville, passed away Monday, January, 19, 2015, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Banks County on August 11, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Plumer "Duck" Ausborn and Ola Mae Brady Ausborn. Mrs. Murray was retired from Ethicon with 28 years of service and she was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed time with her grandchildren, cross-word puzzles, and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Junior Murray; son, Dale Murray; brothers, Wilburn, Deward, and Young Ausborn.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Kimsey & Souly Murray of Carnesville; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth & David Thurmond of Carnesville; brothers, Roger Ausborn and Morris Ausborn both of Toccoa; sisters, Carolyn Turpin of Carnesville & Gail McFarlin and Glenda Sutton both of Toccoa; grandchildren, D.J., B.J., Starr, and Hailie Thurmond, Becky Boulineau, and Kemberlee Murray; great grandchildren, Christian and Lillian; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 21, 2014, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Gary Ledford and Rev. David Ledford officiating. Interment will follow in the Murray-Jackson Cemetery in Banks County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-9 pm on Tuesday.
