Bobby Leon Hosch

Mr. Bobby Leon Hosch age 83 of Gainesville died January 18, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born on June 25, 1931 to parents Isaac Herman Hosch and Odessia Roberts Hosch. He was retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Hosch loved to quail and rabbit hunt and has walked many miles in both Hall and Jackson Counties with many of his friends that have gone on before him. Mr. Hosch was an avid gardener who loved to share his vegetables with family, friends and neighbors, and loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Hosch was preceded in death by his parents, son, Bobby Hosch, brothers, Carl Winfred Hosch, Ottis Hosch, and Charles Huel Hosch.
Mr. Hosch is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 65 years, Mary Lou Brewer Hosch, son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Donna Hosch of Athens, daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Alvin Bagwell of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Terry Roper of Hoschton, he is survived by 6 grandchildren, Darian and Leslie Hosch of Ball, Louisiana, Shanda and Alan Farmer of Winder, Casey and Mike Weiner of Cape Coral, FL, Angela Driver of Warner Robins, Megan Bagwell of Gainesville, Michael Brent Bagwell of Brookton, Ga, 8 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Hannah, Dara Hosch of Ball, La, Anna Kate Farmer of Winder, Braxton, Maddox, Makinley Weiner of Cape Coral, FL, Briauna Driver of Warner Robins, brothers, Garlon Hosch of Gainesville, sisters, Christine Deaton, Martha and Leroy Pass, and Virginia Ivey all of Gainesville, sister-in-laws, Wilma Hosch of Doraville, Ga and Barbara Hosch of Athens, AL, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and staff that cared for Mr. Hosch. A special thanks to Doctors Sean Sumner, Laura Shepard, Timothy Fullenwiler, Jim Bekner, Abhishek Gaur, and hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Mountain View Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Mr. Hosch.

Funeral services will he be held on Tuesday January 20, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Grandson- Reverend Darian Hosch will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday January 19, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
