Verdelle Parks Bracket

Verdelle Parks Brackett, 93 of Dahlonega, GA passed away Friday, January 16, 2015. A native of Lumpkin County, She enjoyed going on trips with family. She was a devoted homemaker, cook, and loving mother.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Harvey and Sallie Green Parks Brackett; son, Emory Speers Brackett (Skipper); sisters, Mary Lou Chester, Idell Kendall, Bessie Trammell, and Bonnie Edwards Heap; brothers; Woodrow Parks, I.H. Parks and Robert Parks.

She is survived by her Daughter and son in law Barbara and J.D. Martin of Dahlonega, GA. and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Family will receive friends on Sunday January 18th, 2015 from 6pm until 9pm and Monday January 19th from 11am until 2pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 19th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Dahlonega Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Dahlonega.
