Mrs. Virginia Rose Maki Hudson, age 88 of Toccoa passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Stephens County Hospital.
A daughter of the late Walter and Helen King Maki, she was born April 22, 1926 in Monessen, Pennsylvania. She lived most of her life in Ohio and lived the past 17 years in Toccoa. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and a member the Adult Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Hudson of the home, a grand-daughter Suzanne and Richard Townsend of Albuquerque, New Mexico, two great-grandchildren, two brothers-in law Albert and Frances Hudson of Mt. Airy, Paul Hudson of Athens, and two sisters-in law Jessie Frady of Mt. Airy and Dorothy Anderson of Toccoa.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, 2 P.M. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Albert Hudson and the Reverend Stacey Penland officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home Saturday from 6-8 P.M.
