Henry Edward 'Ed' Dove

Henry Edward "Ed" Dove age 84 of Lula passed away on Jan. 14, 2015 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.


Mr. Dove was born February 5, 1930 in Lula to the late John Milford and Nonie Abernathy Dove. He was a Poultry farmer for a number of years and was a longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church. Mr. Dove was preceded in death by his sisters, Thelma Benton and Billie Hewell.

Survivors include, wife of 62 ½ years, Jerolene Jordan Dove of Lula, son and daughter in law, Brant and Cindy Dove of Lula, daughter and son in law, Sherree and Carl Martin of Istanbul, Turkey, grandson, John Dove of Lula, granddaughter, Tiffany Henderson of Jefferson, grandson, Weston Martin of Lynchburg, VA, grandson, Kendall Martin of Clemson, SC, granddaughter, Dove Martin of Istanbul, Turkey, great grandson, Cameron Dove of Gainesville, great granddaughter, Molly Henderson of Jefferson, sister, Margie House of Lula, sister, Johnnie Gowder of Lula, A number of nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday Jan. 17, 2015 at Liberty Baptist Church, Lula with Rev. Chad Buffington, Mr. Dustin Porter, and Rev. John Wayne Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Dr. James Hatcher officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 Friday Jan. 16, 2015at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel Funeral Home.
