Wilma Lewallen Wilmot

Mrs. Wilma Lewallen Wilmot, age 86 of 172 Wilmot Drive, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late Johnnie and Alice Newsome Lewallen, she was born June 20, 1928 in Banks County, Georgia having lived in Toccoa and Stephens County most of her life. She retired from Coats and Clark with 32 years of service and was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, William Wilmot, a brother, Noah Lewallen and by a sister, Ruth Waldon.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Rev. Paul Jameson, Glenda and Terry Ernest and Connie and Aubrey Finley all of Toccoa; two sons and daughter-in-law, Herman and Mary Wilmot and Brad Wilmot both of Toccoa; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Elgar and Edna Lewallen of Eastanollee; sister, ViElla Cheek of Toccoa; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 14, 2 O'clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Michael Jameson, Kevin Smith, Lathan Wilmot, Paul Carter, Randy Hemphill and Jeff Robertson. Honorary pallbearer will be Scott Finley.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Interment will be in the Roselane Cemetery with The Reverend Paul Jameson officiating. Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Wilma Lewallen Wilmot.
