James Earl Barnes

James Earl Barnes, 75, of Flowery Branch passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Jeff Worley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 12, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Barnes was born on August 28, 1939 in Demorest, GA to the late Cranford and Martha Louella Boggs Barnes. He was retired from Milliken where he was a maintenance worker. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jo Ann Alexander.

Mr. Barnes is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Donna Barnes Worley and Reverend Jeff Worley of Gainesville; son, Michael Barnes and Spouse Lane Gilreath of Flowery Branch; granddaughter and husband, Christan and David Harding of Savannah; grandsons, Brandon and Josh Worley of Gainesville.
