Glenda Paulette Martin Moody

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces services for Glenda Paulette Martin Moody, 70, of Commerce who passed away late Friday evening at the home of her daughter at 178 Trout Lane in Commerce.

Born in Habersham County, GA, she the daughter of the late Robert F. and Ethelene Tomlin Martin and was the wife of William Lawrence Moody of Commerce.

She was also preceded in death by a son, William Michael Moody, a brother, Kenneth Martin and a sister, Virginia Chastain.

Survivors, along with her husband, include her children, Mitchell (Sue) Moody of Nicholson, Kenneth Lawrence (Brandy) Moody of Dry Pond, Lorie Saylors (Mark) Clark of Commerce; siblings, Robert Lee Martin of Lula and Joyce Martin (Norman) Boswell of Maysville; 20 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Martin of Clarksville and a brother-in-law, Leon Chastain of Nelson.

Funeral services for Glenda Paulette Moody will be conducted on Monday at 2 PM from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with Revs. Truman Humphrey and Danny Evans officiating.

Interment will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4-8 PM.
