Frank Lester Danchetz

Frank Lester Danchetz, 66, of Gainesville, GA died on January 6, 2015 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Born in Hungary, his family immigrated to the US in 1956, during the Hungarian Uprising. He was the son of the late Frank Danchetz and Mary Danchetz of Sandy Springs, GA. His brother, Lester Danchetz also predeceased him.

A graduate of Georgia Tech, he also attended the Harvard Management Institute. Following his retirement from the Georgia Department of Transportation, after 34 years, he was employed by Arcadis Engineering US. As a young man, he was an Eagle Scout. He held at black belt in Judo, was skilled in many languages and was a master chef.

Frank and his wife Dot were among the founding families of The Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd. Through the years he assumed many roles in the church
