Ivalee Holcomb

Ivalee Holcomb, age 85 of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, January 06, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. Holcomb was born December 26, 1929 in Cleveland to the late Clarence and Eula Dooley Skelton. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. Mrs. Holcomb was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Terry Holcomb, brother Larry Skelton, brother-in-law, Scott Craven, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Joyce Holcomb, sister-in-law, Ruth Holcomb.

The family would like to thank Halcyon Hospice and special friends Judy Oliver and Matilda Hall.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Lee Holcomb, Cleveland; son, Stanley Holcomb; daughter and son-in-law, Libby and Stump Oliver, all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Kaycee and Jimmy Motes, Clermont; Tracey and Darrin Whitmire, Cleveland; Brandon and Chelsea Holcomb, Cleveland; Brent and Amy Oliver, Clarkesville; Tabitha and Hunter Hughes, Commerce; Megan Oliver, Cleveland; sister, Unzell Craven, Cleveland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe Edd and Dee Holcomb; sister-in-law; June Skelton, all of Cleveland; great grandchildren, Brittany, Lindsey, Jacob, Ivy, Will, Jackson, Taylor, Matthew, Tristen, Braylee; great-great grandchildren, Caitlynn, Emily.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 9, 2015 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Guy Lee and the Rev. Dave Fortner will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. W.A. Jenkins officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
