Danny P. Kirk, Jr

Danny P. Kirk, Jr., 38 of Dahlonega passed away Tuesday December 30, 2014.

Born February 28, 1976 in Augusta, GA, he had been living in Lumpkin County for the past 4 years having moved from Jasper. Danny was very devoted to his family, friends, church and touched the hearts of all who knew him. Even thought he was only here for what seemed a short time, he was deeply loved and will always be remembered for the joy he brought. He enjoyed spending time with his son, NASCAR, especially Earnhardt, hunting, fishing and camping. He will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Jo Brunner Spence.

Surviving are his son, Dylan Kirk, Canton; stepchildren, Alex and Katlin; father, Danny P. Kirk, Sr., Dahlonega; sisters, Donna Merritt, Locus Grove, Deana Pierce, Jasper; brother, Don Smith, Jr., Kansas.

Memorial services will be held Thursday January 8, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Apostles, 34 Grant Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
