Peggy Sue Vickers Howard

Peggy Sue Vickers Howard, 77 of Buford passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Embracing Hospice following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with internment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend John Crunkleton will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Howard was born on March 27, 1937 in Buford to the late John Garner and Alma Owen Vickers. She was an administrative assistant for Gwinnett County Solicitors Office and was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ralph "Cotton" Sexton, Clarence Donald Howard; sister, Florene Clark; son, Steven Sexton.

Mrs. Howard is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Michael Crowe of Sugar Hill, GA; step-daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn and Bob Johnston, Shirley and Jose Salas; step-son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Louann Howard; grandchildren, Emily Crews, Alex and Brittany Crowe, John Michael Crowe, Hannah Sexton; great granddaughter, Holden Crews; step-grandchildren, Wendi Albertson and family, John Crunkleton and family, Craig Howard and family, Stephanie Sentinella and family, Michael Irving and family; sister, Tina Tankersley and family; brother James Vickers and family.

Flowers are accepted or in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Embracing Hospice Cumming, GA in memory of Mrs. Howard.
