Sarah Ellen Gaddis

Sarah Ellen Gaddis, age 92 of Buford, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Emeritus Assisted Living in Buford, following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 5, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Steve Fenlon will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 5. 2014 from 1 - 2 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gaddis was born October 2, 1922 in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Truman O. Bell and May Chamblee Bell. She was an expert gardener and seamstress, also a wonderful homemaker and a loving wife and mother. Sarah was a member of Oakwood First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilson Gaddis and her brothers, Robert Bell and Russell Bell.

Mrs. Gaddis is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Linda & David Narey of Buford, son, Bradley Gaddis of Chestnut Mountain, brother, Gene Bell of Marietta, special cousin, Eulene Wilson of Oakwood and a number of nieces and nephews.
