Rosie Lee Freeman Ash

Mrs. Rosie Lee Freeman Ash, age 86 of 197 Fern Point Drive, Apt, 206, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Gateway Health and Rehab in Cleveland, Georgia.

A daughter of the late Millard and Annie Mae Allison Freeman, she was born August 5, 1928 in White County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Lavonia, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Ash in 2008.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Michael McCurry of Carnesville, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Vicki Ash of Mt. Airy, Georgia; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Freeman of Cornelia, Georgia and Garnett Freeman of Hampton, Georgia; three sisters, Alva Nell Wigley of Buford, Georgia, LaMerle Edwards of Cleveland, Georgia and Barbara Harkins of Gastonia, North Carolina; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 2, 3 O'clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Ron Certain officiating.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM and from 2 until service hour on Friday. The following will serve as pallbearers, Michael Collier, Jeremy Vandiver, Austin Barrett, Kevin Roberts, Dustin Frankum and Justin Teague.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Rosie Lee Freeman Ash.
